Job Description ASRC Federal Space Coast Aerospace Services, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, delivers high-performance space systems engineering, integration and satellite operations services to civil and defense agencies. We are a premier provider of software engineering and system integration services. We are seekingSoftware Engineers to support the continued development and sustainment of space programs. Key Role: Work in a collaborative team using agile development methodology, performing the following tasks: Performs subsystem definition, preliminary and detailed design, design implementation, subsystem and system integration, and testing. Participates in software requirements review, preliminary and critical design reviews, integration readiness review, and software acceptance reviews. Researches problems and develops solutions. Requirements ASRC Federal Space Coast Aerospace Services, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking junior, mid and senior level software engineers to support NASA missions in various locations nationwide. Some roles will be on-site and others will a hybrid or remote positions in various locations. All roles require US Citizenship in order to meet security background requirements and some Secret clearance roles or above. Requirements: US Citizenship in order to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, if required Level 1 Associate - Bachelor''s degree in (Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field a related discipline), or equivalent experience/combined education. Considered entry level. Level 2 Engineer - Bachelor''s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Master''s degree. Level 3 Senior - Bachelor''s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master''s degree Level 4 Staff - Bachelor''s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master''s degree; or 4 years of professional experience required with a related PhD or JD; or no experience required with a MD. Level 5 Senior Staff - Bachelor''s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Master''s degree. Level 6 Principle - Bachelor''s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 20 years of professional experience; or 15 years of professional experience with a related Master''s degree. Provide critical development, maintenance, or support in an Open/Layered Architecture Environment; Operating Environments; Model-based tools; Information Assurance; Tools Development; Safety Analysis; Real Time System Data Analysis; Problem Analysis; System Integration. Seeking a combination of many of these skills: * Experience with Object Oriented design/development including the employment of Design Patterns to facilitate the utilization of software insulation techniques and plugins* Experience developing software with Java, C++, or Python* Experience working with the Windows, Solaris, and LINUX environments.* Experience developing Solaris, and other variants of UNIX scripts.* Strong skills with Integrated Development Environments (IDE) such as Eclipse.* Familiar with UML syntax and its use* Familiar with driver-based and automated test environments* Experience with the following tools are considered a plus:* Clearcase (Version Control Software)* JIRA (Project Management Tool)* xUnit Framework, Junit and CPPUnitLite* Software Life Cycle Processes and Procedures
