SIGINT Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

All FTS employees must be fully vaccinated, and they must submit proof of vaccination on their first day of employment. FTS has an opportunity for a SIGINT Systems Engineer in Chantilly, VA. The SIGINT Systems Engineer possess an enterprise software development background to work with our client in supporting a coalition of government users transforming single Intelligence (INT) capabilities into a cohesive, coherent multi-INT grid of capabilities focused on multidomain intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) operations. Responsibilities * Provide support to design, embed, integrate, fuse, and verify capabilities to develop the government''s next generation cooperative ISR operations framework * Research, gather, and write formal requirements, translate those requirements into user stories and providing statements of work * Engage with the tactical ISR community and their government representatives to collaboratively design, document and validate system interfaces for use in disconnected, intermittent and limited bandwidth environments * Support Agile development teams as Product Owner providing government direction, oversight, verification and validation of the artifacts to meet government milestones * Moderate a community collaborative development environment to coordinate the software development activities of multiple teams and government efforts * Leverage their experience in software integration and software architecture in support of clients and teams integrating national and tactical ISR capabilities Required Skills/Qualifications * TS/SCI with polygraph * B.S. degree in Business, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (BSTEM) or a related field * 7 years of related experience * 5 years of SIGINT experience (ELINT, COMINT, or FISINT) * 3 years of DoD/IC experience * Ability to facilitate community technical exchange meetings to identify system requirements and capabilities, and then translate them into software design, interfaces, testing features, and user stories * Specific knowledge of at least one of the following SIGINT disciplines: Collection Management, Collection Operations, Processing, or Analysis * Understanding of SIGINT compliance policies and procedures * Demonstrated experience in software integration and architecture * Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to summarize and brief complex technical issues to senior Government leaders, military officers and technical experts * Demonstrated experience using tools like JIRA and Confluence * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Possess excellent writing and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to manage multiple customer requests simultaneously * Expected to seek and assume higher levels of technical responsibility, manage time effectively across more than one initiative, and apply sound technical judgement * Must be able to travel FTS International, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Disability/Veteran.
