Position Summary MAG Aerospace is seeking an Information Assurance Specialist with experience with USG, DoD, DA and FORSCOM cybersecurity policies and guidelines. The Information Assurance Specialist will monitor day to day operations and execute corrective actions to support achieving and maintaining system security baselines. The candidate will support the equipment, provide high-level troubleshooting and maintenance, and act as a SME to the Government. The IA Specialist shall also be responsible for system maintenance and the updating of security documentation and baselines to ensure the government program achieves and maintains ATO status for all systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to: * Briefs management on all security concerns and threats * Attends management, technical and administrative meetings as requested and assist with preparation of briefings and reports * Ability to review and generate security artifacts, including security plans, POA&M, and security CONOPS * Participates in the development of product solutions to include software engineering responsibilities, implementation, and testing * Performs risk analyses of application/networks * Provides configuration management for security relevant information system software, hardware, and firmware * Capable of working with complex system architectures * Maintains knowledge of Certification & Accreditation (C&A) and the full systems security life cycle and comprehends Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) requirements * Conducts vulnerability assessments on assets and review results to verify targeted assets (e.g., servers, workstations, network appliances,) conform to security requirements * Remain current on national vulnerability websites * Understanding of network fundamentals (protocols) and infrastructure * Prepare and administer briefings on security programs and administrative services to personnel and support security and facilities inspections * Maintain system records in XACTA and eMass * Update and maintain Standard Operating procedures to assist in the streamlining and standardization of security processes Requirements Minimum Requirements * Must Have 8+ years of Cyber Experience at the Strategic and SME Level * Must Have 5 years of experience working on Risk Management Framework (RMF), Certification and Accreditation Testing and Validation process of applications software and computer systems for cloud platforms (e.g., AWS and Azure) * Must Have 3 years of experience and demonstrates understanding of principles of multi-level security solutions as employed in the context of DoD Joint Information Environment and the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN) network elements, and the role of those principles within the enterprise service architecture to achieve dissemination of releasable information from end to end which enables interoperability and IA within DoD networks. * Must Be Proficiency with MS Office Suite Education * Bachelor''s Degree Computer Science, System Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or related area, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work/military experience * Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) * Network + * DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level 2 Certification (Security + CE) or IAT Level 3 Clearance * Secret Clearance is required to start. TS/TSI will be required for this position. Travel * Travel is primarily local during the business day, although out-of-the-area and overnight travel are expected to visit other company sites - up to 10% travel expected.
