PROJECT MANAGER- MIDSTREAM

POSITION SUMMARY: Prime responsibility for the financial administration of a project and overall direction, coordination and performance of engineering, procurement, construction (if applicable), and related activities. Acts as the principal contact with the Client. Ensures that the proper definition of project requirements is provided to all parties by issuance of a Project Management Plan.RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES:Maintains overall responsibility ensuring project performance meets scope, schedule & budget.Responsible for negotiating with the client and capable of managing all changes to the job (scope, schedule and budget) efficiently in accordance with procedures.Makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have an important impact on extensive engineering activities and itiates and maintains extensive contacts with key engineers and officials of other organizations and companies, requiring skill in persuasion and negotiation of critical issues.Recommends and facilitates the personnel and funds required to carry out programs which are directly related with and directed toward fulfillment of overall organization objectives.EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE Minimum - Bachelor of Engineering.PMP Certification preferred. P.E. license preferred.6-8 years managing, leading and delivering cradle-to-grave projects.8-10 years of project related experience if not a licensed Project Engineer, PMP or Design Engineer.Experience specifically in managing and delivering midstream projects, terminals and/or pipelines, both preferred.Experience managing and delivering small-mid cap projects.Detailed knowledge of Industry Standards, Policy and Procedures.Knowledgeable and experienced in the use of CPM scheduling and project controls and possesses a high degree of expertise in project management.Has a good general knowledge of most engineering disciplines and is highly proficient in the details of at least one engineering discipline.Self-starter with a proactive mentality.
