Description Electrical Engineering Technician III San Diego, CA Responsibilities: Elevator Support Unit (ESU) senior technician. Leads ESU team members to help identify and correct elevator problems and assist with maintenance and logistics documentation. Duties shall include supervising technical personnel in maintenance functions, requiring a practical application of basic scientific principles involving mathematics, physical and engineering sciences, and knowledge of fundamental engineering concepts. Able to use tact and diplomacy to effectively work with civilian and military personnel. Requirements: * Twelve (12) years experience in the operation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems of naval ships: * Four (4) years experience directing or supervising a work force of lesser skilled technical personnel in the performance of repair and maintenance functions. * Four (4) years experience in administration of the Navy 3M and supply system. Three (3) years demonstrated experience with HM&E Control or similar systems. * Knowledge and experience with U.S. Naval Aircraft Carrier, elevator and cargo handling systems is essential. * An Associate Degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college, university or trade school may be substituted for up to two (2) years of technician experience. * US Citizen with Secret Security Clearance ORBIS offers an excellent benefits package and competitive salary in a professional atmosphere.
