Description Description Amazon Lending is hiring experienced Software Development Engineers to work from home or from Amazon''s offices in Austin, TX. Now we are expanding to support other programs such as providing capital to businesses using Buy with Prime as well as business moving to AWS, enabling new customers to take advantage of our hassle-free lending products.Key job responsibilitiesAs a Software Development Engineer with Amazon Lending, you will work closely with a talented team of engineers, product managers, and UX designers to build innovative new financial products. You will develop flexible and configurable services to accelerate product rollouts and experimentation and handle rapidly increasing workloads across multiple lines of business. You will design for scale and simplicity, building new features for partner integration, product setup, credit assessment, and loan servicing packaged up in an awesome customer experience. You will utilize rigorous analysis and system design to build for the long term.A day in the lifeWe are a fast-paced development team, using agile methodologies to deliver incrementally with each two-week sprint. We build predominantly in java using a blend of server and serverless based architectures. We are a full stack development organization owning internally and externally facing UI stacks as well as multiple services. We invest heavily in automation in both testing and deployment to reduce time to market and scale our operations. We allocate time for learning and experimentation through learning days and hackathons and provide plenty of opportunities to work along-side senior engineers. We share our knowledge through weekly learning sessions and monthly tech talks.
