Penetration Tester with Security Clearance

Title: Penetration Tester Location: Washington, D.C., Atlantic City, NJ, (remote/travel to test sites as desiginated) Clearance: Secret Overview: The Penetration Tester will serve as a Subject Matter Expert to assist in the development of an adaptable, expandable team of penetration testers. The team is responsible for testing and validating the security of the customer''s capabilities and programs. The penetration testing program will include synchronization with existing test teams, vulnerability research, mitigation development, system testing and vulnerability reporting. Responsibilities: * Assist in the development of security engineering requirements, procedures, and polices for penetration and red team testing activities as required * Acquire a complete understanding pf a customer''s technology and information systems * Conduct applied security research on security standards, authentication tools and protocols in support of customer technologies * Identify COTS/GOTS systems integration issues, security control implementation deficiencies, and recommend mitigation actions to bolstering security posture * Perform security testing, risk, and security assessments using penetration tester mindset as required * Conduct in-depth security engineering reviews and approve proposed systems/application security control implementations used for capabilities and programs * Provide technical supervision for (and guidance to) a security team as required * Oversee security awareness programs and educational efforts as required * Test final security structures to ensure they behave as expected * Deliver technical reports and formal papers on test findings Requirements: * Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related technical discipline preferred, with 8+ years of hands-on experience; an additional 4 years of work experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree * Must possess one of the following red team certifications: OSCP, OSCE, OSWP, OSWE, CEH, ECSA, LPT, GCIH, GPEN, GWAPT, GXPN, GAWN * Must possess one of the following blue team certifications: CND, CNDA, GCIA, GCIH GDAT, GDSA, GCED, GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst * Excellent written and oral communication skills a must, with the ability to work independently or as a member of a team * Must be comfortable working with personnel on all levels of an organization * Experience with systems architecture/engineering supporting data science projects preferred * Current Secret Clearance required Equal Opportunity Employer/Veteran/Disabled
