Overview Axient is seeking a Journeyman level Network and Computer Systems Administrator at Eglin AFB, FL. Responsibilities Duties will include, but are not limited to: * Provide support and assistance in the management and operations of armament program related network systems. * System administration of network, Web, and/or communication systems, including LAN and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems, involving network security. * Manage hardware and software, perform configuration management and troubleshooting on IT related equipment; * Provide support to end-users with the operation and restoration of information systems; * Perform daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems which may be mainframe, mini, client/server, or cloud based and optimizes system operation and resource utilization, and performs system capacity analysis, planning, and lifecycle management. * Provide user assistance with accessing and using business systems. * Prepare technical implementation plans that provide integrated solutions including actions, milestones, timelines and critical paths required for complete solutions. Qualifications * Must be a US Citizen. * Must have an active and transferrable DoD Top Secret security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance. * AS degree and 10 yrs experience OR AS degree and 8yrs exp with IAT Level III certification OR BS degree and 5yrs experience OR * BS degree and 3yrs exp with IAT Level III certification. * Degree program and experience must be relevant. * Must meet applicable COVID safety requirements and protocols
