Reporting to the Head of Business Development and Strategy for Amazon Pay, Americas, this role will focus on applying deep analytical skills, strong business judgement, and new strategies to identify and grow opportunities and joint ventures to scale Amazon Pay. This individual can structure complex problems, develop hypotheses, conduct analyses, synthesize insights and recommendations, prioritize ruthlessly, and align cross-functional stakeholders quickly. What you will do:Take the lead to identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage partnerships across technology, marketing, and go-to-market disciplinesInnovate on the right terms that provide value to customers, merchants and AmazonAdvocate internally for merchant features and functionality that will help facilitate a world class feature and tool setDevelop a thorough understanding of customer and partner behavior, competitive trends and business drivers to inform decision makingDevelop and drive special projects related to category expansion, unlocking engagement and revenue growth, and scaling new business initiativesLead exploration of new products and new categories to increase points of acceptance and grow Amazon Pay''s businessProvide thought leadership in strategic initiatives and business deep dives to accelerate growth and profitabilityManage competing priorities across a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring time is focused on the highest value activities and issuesProviding an independent perspective, and acting as a sounding-board for ideas**This position can be located in New York, Cupertino, Arlington or Seattle.Key job responsibilitiesThe main function of the role is driving new category expansion and working within key categories to bring new experiences to customers and to drive product and business strategy discussions with senior level leaders in those organizations.
