Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a highly qualified Property Management Lead to join our team on successful award of the upcoming Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) System Integration, Test and Readiness (SITR) contract. Currently in the source selection phase, an award is anticipated in the September 2022 timeframe. The Property Management Lead will support the GMD SITR Program Ops Manager in developing and maintaining an overall asset and property management program for the Program Office and Government customer. Our experts are responsible for integrated weapon system management, from inception to retirement. As the Property Management Lead, you will lead a high-performing team to provide engineering, technical, and administrative expertise to the government. A qualified candidate will provide enhanced asset management and material tracking. The selected candidate will need a robust level of attention to detail in order to provide accurate accounting of equipment pedigree and status for program/government assets on the GMD program in advance of customer delivery, while in use, and when returned for repair, maintenance or upgrade. Accounting includes manual inventory and electronic tracking to maintain and balance stock levels and provide asset visibility and reporting on the movement of items from source to destination for each member of the program/government customer team. Pursuant to Government contract, this position requires U.S. Citizenship status, and qualified candidates must possess a U.S. Government Secret security clearance Required Education, Experience, & Skills * Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, Accounting, Science, or Engineering, with 5+ years of directly related experience.* Familiarity with Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) and the Missile Defense System (MDS)* Experience in using property databases for tracking assets and to make inquiries for collecting and reporting data in accordance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) requirements* Experience managing and tracking Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) / Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) to/from various locations following company policies and program plans/procedures* Familiar with requirements for Item Unique Identification (IUID) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) marking and tracking of property and reporting information verbally or through spreadsheets and charts compatible with the Microsoft Office suite* Documented experience with presenting material to senior division and program leadership and other government officials* Proven experience with analyzing business process or process documentation to identify areas of improvement and efficiency* Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team* Demonstrated ability to be a self-motivated team player* Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills* Possession of excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills* Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions* Active Secret security clearance Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills * Experience using support applications/databases including Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, and TIPQA* Understanding of US Government and commercial databases to include Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), Commercial Asset Visibility System (CAVS), and Automated Logistics Management Support System (ALMSS)* Experience with formal data reporting and inventory requirements in support of contract closeout activities* Current Top Secret or higher level clearance About BAE Systems Intelligence & Security BAE Systems, Inc. is the U.S. subsidiary of BAE Systems plc, an international defense, aerospace and security company which delivers a full range of products and services for air, land and naval forces, as well as advanced electronics, security, information technology solutions and customer support services.
