This is an remote position for those already in Tulsa, OK or willing to relocate to Tulsa, OK**The United States (U.S.) has experienced an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) market vacuum as major China-based UAV manufacturers have become banned by both the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) Section 848 and the American Security Drone Act of 2021 for sale to the U.S. government and for critical infrastructure jobs around the country. AirWise is a "Blue" or U.S. based drone hardware manufacturer (HW) and drone software (SW) development group that specializes in secure, easy to use and domestically produced technology. The AirWise family has one goal: to become the trusted mid-range UAV commercial & defense workhorse for the United States.ABOUT THIS ROLE:The AirWise team is engineering a "Blue" H520E drone airframe, which provides world-class Real Time Kinematics (RTK), hexacopter (6-blade) stabilization, and next-generation E/O optical photogrammetry. The team also develops advanced software applications that integrate with the H520E and others. Our mission is simplifying and automating enterprise drone use by developing a unified flight planning, fleet management, GBDAA, secure cloud data and advanced photogrammetry software platforms with teams located in Tulsa, OK, Seattle, WA and San Jose, CA. In this Front-End Software Developer role, you will develop the customer experience with AirWise software solutions and work within the SW team requirements for technology implementation. You will work directly with supporting remote dev teams to develop a front end experience for web and/or mobile applications. You will transform UX designs into delightful experiences that make it safe and efficient for people to interact with AirWise SW. We are seeking candidates with a strong front-end pedigree who have experience with web-site and/or mobile app development and general concepts of graphic design. BASIC REQUIREMENTS:Prior working experience in a relevant field, preferably as a Software Engineer (3+ years of experience)Portfolio of completed front-end projects or team participation in successful front-end projectsProven experience with establishing Graphic User Interfaces (GUI) and web-site dev Familiarity with integrating cross-platform SW and responsiveness of applicationsProven proficiency in client side languages such as Typescript, REACT, html, CSSGeneral proficiency with server side languages such as TypescriptAdaptability to create efficient and thoughtful UX experiences for the UAV marketAbility to excel and multitask in a fast paced work environmentPREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor''s degree in Software Engineer (SE) or Computer Science (CS) or other closely related field (or equivalent 4 year degree) Experience with UAV or other robotic systems or projectsExperience with MapBox SW (highly preferred) Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) (highly preferred) Experience with Tableau SW (highly preferred) Experience with LinuxExperience with PX4 flight control, MAVLINK, and QGroundControl, Qt (highly preferred) Excellent knowledge of operating systems, coding procedures, interfaces, ips, and hardware systemsRESPONSIBILITIES:Develop a front end UX for web and mobile application Transform UX designs into delightful experiences that make it safe and efficient for people to interact with AirWise SWCoordinate with remote SW dev teams across the country and interact with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to form the concise experience requestedValidating and integrating cross platform UX Ensuring front-end security of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud data/transfer and downloadsLOCATION:Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States (U.S.) Remote Work with Supervisor approvalHOURS:Full-Time: 40 hour work week, standard U.S. holidays BENEFITS PACKAGE:Health InsuranceDental Insurance Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceLi-Remote
