Foster products while following standard work methods and practicing safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and safe. Production Workers are trained to work in all areas of This Position You Will...* Be an exemplary leader on all safe work practices and procedures.* Utilize 5S standards to maintain a clean and safe work area.* Carryout verbal and written instructions from Foreman.* Be trained in four production processes or production of three products.* Complete jobs in a timely fashion to ensure on time shipment.* Willingness to assist in the development and training of other team members.* Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.* Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.* Read and interpret work instructions, then execute work per instructions.* Perform regular pre-operation equipment inspections and report any issues identified.* Set up, adjust, and operate all basic machine tools.* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Service Specialists* Achieve and maintain CDL Licensing to drive company trucks for service needs away from the facility.* Represent the company while performing work outside of the plant and interacting with customers.What You Need...Education & Experience:* High school diploma or equivalent* At least 3 years of experience in a production environment* Meet all Production Worker II Requirements and SkillsService Specialist* CDL Driver''s License* Meet all FMSCA requirementsSkills & Abilities:* Ability to read and understand blueprints and written instructions.* Ability to work in a high paced environment while maintaining safety standards and following all safe work practices.* Ability to use various hand and power tools associated with assigned work area.* Demonstrate ability to prioritize, work efficiently, problem solve and work positively with a team.* Ability to exert up to 80 pounds of force occasionally, up to 40 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.* Average proficiency in mathematics.* Good visual petencies:* Safety Oriented* Teamwork* Communication* Customer Focus* Integrity & Trust* Attention to Detail/Time Management* Continuous Improvement* Critical Thinking* Adaptability/Flexibility* Accountability/Work Ethic
