Overview LMI is currently seeking a Program Analyst to support the DoD Biological Sciences Program in the Human Systems Directorate (HSD), providing administrative, professional, and technical support to the HSD. The HSD currently has 5 programs and is increasing to 7 major program areas: Climate and Earth Systems Program; Environmental Toxicological Sciences Program; Human Research Protection Program and Animal Research Protection Program; Human Systems Program; Biological Sciences Program; Irregular Warfare and Language and Culture Training Program; and Medical RDT&E Program . This position will support the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD (R&E))/Department of Defense Research and Engineering (DDRE (R&T)) Support in Washington, DC. This position requires an active DoD TS/SCI Clearance based on a single scope background investigation. Responsibilities * Assist in preparing for meetings and workshops including developing announcements, agendas, read-ahead documents, meeting minutes, and technical briefing materials * Prepare draft papers to include technical evaluations, weekly reports, information papers, action memoranda, emails, and other documents as requested * Prepare presentation/briefing materials to include research of technical content, graphics, and production * Provide administrative support for office business policy and procedures * Maintain broad situational awareness of research and development efforts involving the HSD program areas * Monitor year-end close out actions * Develop and maintain content/information for HSD website and associated websites, to include coordination of content/information changes/edits/updates to website and verification of public releasability of website content/information * Assist in development and review of monthly newsletter, to include development and review of technical content, and coordination and dissemination of newsletter * Assist in preparing, editing, reviewing, monitoring, and/or facilitating documents and briefings for DoD-wide dissemination and public release * Occasional travel may be required Qualifications Required : * Bachelor''s degree from an accredited college or university in medicine, biology, neuroscience, psychology, toxicology, engineering, mathematics, or other science and technology related subjects is required * Top Secret security clearance and ability to obtain and maintain SCI * 5 years of recent and relevant experience * Proficient in technical research, an in-depth knowledge of human performance, training, environmental sciences, biosystems, and technical writing * Excellent communication skills, unstructured verbal interactions, briefings, and meeting moderation * Ability to work independently in a distributed environment while maintaining a strong commitment to deliverable scheduled * Occasional travel may be required Desired : * Candidates with a DCID 6/4 eligibility within the last 5 years are highly preferred
