This role will be responsible for testing, integrating and debugging SEAKR''s Software and Hardware Systems. The engineer will be part of a team working to develop, integrate, and test space qualified software and hardware components. Highly qualified candidates will support formal test campaigns and debug of custom satellite hardware destined for space deployment.The Lead Engineer will be the primary point of contact for system control and operation during development and testThe Lead Engineer will develop and review formal test procedures, scripts, and software suites for validation of the avionics systemThe Lead Engineer will maintain status information on tests, bug reports, and team blockers for engagement with management and external customersThe Lead Engineer will be responsible for technical leadership of 2-10 System Integration and Test Software EngineersQualificationsMust have a Bachelor''s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering FieldBackground in requirements based engineering developmentPrevious experience leading small to large teamsExperience working with one or more of: High Speed Serial/SerDes links, I2C, SpaceWire, 1553, SPI, Ethernet, UARTDemonstrated capability to develop and debug C, C++, Python, Lua and/or other scripting languagesPrevious experience working in a Linux command line environmentBackground in software defined radios or RF signal testing preferredAdditional InformationCompensation: Base pay range is $100,000 - 145,000 depending on qualifications.
