The Radar Systems Department provides system engineering, integration, and test expertise to the radar, sensor and ship systems programs within Raytheon Missiles and Defense. In this role you will perform various engineering activities depending on your experience and skill level, such as system test requirements development, planning, execution, and analysis for system integration and verification in hardware-in-the-loop facilities, flight tests, and sell-off of production radar systems; technical support on-site and as reach-back for deployed sensor systems; and modeling and simulation.We value diverse skills and experience, so don''t hold back. If you''re passionate about what you could accomplish here, we''d love to hear from you.Responsibilities to Anticipate:Support planning, design and execution of integration and verification tests for hardware and software modificationsSupport Flight Test planning, execution, analysis, and reportingPrepare plans, procedures, and test casesDevelop detailed integration information sheets and detailed verification information sheetsUpdate the engineering test environment for use by the hardware, software and systems test teams including configuration management of hardware, software and firmwarePerform work on DOORS requirements database to update and maintain the Verification Cross Reference MatrixPerform integration and test activities at the specified CONUS locationPerform data analysis of radar hardware, software, and simulationsSupport Acceptance Testing and DD250 of radarQualifications You Must Have:Bachelor''s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) or related disciplineTypically requires 8 years of experience in an engineering role with system integration or test of DoD systemsExperience as a radar systems engineer with one or more of the following; developing radars or radar sub-systems, operating radars, testing radars, developing software for radar systemsExperience with creating plans, test scripts, and/or conducting performance analysisExperience with programming in MATLAB, C/C++, Python, or other programming languageExperience with Linux operating system environmentThe ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date.
