We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsAssist Surgical Technologists by preparing operating rooms and appropriately arranging surgical equipment and supplies. Provides direct patient care by assisting the surgeon in achieving desired surgical outcomes. Aids perioperative team by scrubbing and caring for the patient before, during and after surgical intervention.What qualifications you will need:Required Education: Successful completion of two semesters in an accredited school of surgical technology required. This temporary position concludes at the date of graduation from the surgical technology program as scheduled on the day of hire.Preferred Education: NoneRequired License: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification requiredPreferred License: NoneRequired Experience: Successful completion of one semester of clinical experience in accredited surgical Technologist program.Preferred Experience: NoneMission Hospital, located in Asheville, North Carolina, serves as the regional referral center for tertiary and quaternary care in western North Carolina and the adjoining region.
