Python Developer Durham, NC - Initially remote till pandemic 6+ Months W2 Only MUST have skills: Python - Microservices, Linux/UnixNICE to have skills: Deployment to the Cloud, devops, jenkinsCandidate Profile:Ideal candidate would have 4 to 5 years of Python Engineering and some experience working on developing API''s/Microservices in Python for Network AutomationBackground in tools development and automation Primary Responsibilities:Design, implement and support Network Automation solutions for Client''s critical resources and enablement of revenue producing servicesEngineering customer connectivity/onboarding based on requirementsConsulting with Business Partners on standard methodologies and optionsTackle issues related to the Netwotk Automation environment (oncall rotation)Documentation of complex technologies and topologies based on security based practicesManagement of life cycle for various technologies within the space (includes vendor management)Oncall support, in collaboration with operations and engineering staffWork closely with all EI divisions to ensure 24x7 availability GNS automation servicesAdvancing issues as neededAssisting in trouble shooting network issuesMember of 3rd level engineering escalation on-call rotationEducation and Experience4-6 years Software Engineering experienceBachelor''s degree in Computer Science or equivalentSkills and Knowledge:Python, Java or GoLang.Network Certifications a plusExperience in SDLCExperience in Agile methodologies (SCRUM or Kanban)Project Management skillsSNOW Form development knowledge a plusSCRUM Master certification a plusKnowledge in ITILKnowledge of TCP/IP, including application knowledgeJenkinsLinux/Unix operating system knowledgeTroubleshooting skills in Application Traffic AnalysisEnterprise Security Policy knowledge and standard methodologiesExperience with DevOps.
