Weights Engineer - Defense 3 with Security Clearance

Responsibilities Work Location: Wichita, Kansas Key Accountabilities: * Apply knowledge of systems engineering and physical science principles in order to analyze and forecast the weight, balance, and mass properties of aerospace vehicles. * Apply knowledge of physical properties of engineering materials, actual weighing techniques, and standard sections in order to optimize weights design criteria and mission performance. * Ability to estimate, calculate, accurately measure, and verify mass, weight, and stiffness of components and assemblies. * Ability to generate weight reports, weights accounting, and support system weight design optimization. Qualifications Requirements: * Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance. * This role requires US Citizenship * Requires 5 to 8 years of experience with a Bachelor''s degree. * 3 to 8 years of expereince with a Master''s degree. Preferred Qualifications: * Educational credentials or equivalent from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
