We are currently seeking a Principal Systems Engineer. Parsons Systems Engineers perform a variety of engineering tasks related to the development, operation, and maintenance of complex technology systems. Design work can include end-to-end data flow, analytic environment, and multi-system architectures. The Systems Engineer analyzes integration of system processes and methodologies to ensure effectiveness of total system performance. The ideal candidate will support key system level activities in the deployment of state of the art systems by serving as a professional staff member onsite on the Governments team. You must be organized and effective in communicating plans, requirements, results and information to customers at a variety of management levels and technical backgrounds. Qualifications: * Bachelor''s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited institution (a combination of years of experience, education, training and certifications will be considered in lieu of a degree)* 10+ years related professional experience* A proven self-starter able to work individually with limited supervision, and capable of working in small to large focus groups assigned to complex tasks.* Experience working with customers to define requirements for dashboard visualizations* Comfortable doing customer outreach and engagement to capture technical specs and requirements and coordinate delivery of solutions.* Capable of translating requirements from senior level leadership to executable tasks for developers and analysts* Project planning and roadmap development* Capturing project status and developing briefs for leadership* Active TS SCI w/Poly required Additional Qualifications * Experience working with customer cyber defense systems* Experience in working with large data sets and identifying opportunities for automation Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
