The CACI Team is seeking a highly motivated senior level Data Scientist with plenty of growth opportunities in the field and a desire to ''harness the power of the cloud in an Agile world''. As a Data Scientist, you will hone your skills and contribute to the team collaborating with technical SMEs and other teams to innovate with exploratory data analysis from complex or high-dimensional datasets. What You''ll Get To Do: o Coordinates the team efforts and mission supporting the processing of structured and unstructured data to derive patterns and trends, in order to draw scientifically credible analytical conclusions base on quantitative analysis. o Lead assessments, identify and evaluate novel algorithms, methodologies, tools and data sources with application of DoD/Government analytics. o Uses software languages (Python or similar) and tools such as R, Tableau or other related ones, to develop scripts and automate data gathering and analysis. o Lead and support the team and client with descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. o Helps clients overcome their most difficult challenges and continuously broadening expertise in areas like agile development, cloud-based development, containerization and server less technologies and processes. o Provides data analytics, data visualization, and AI capabilities that will improve national security. o Assists in the identification of new opportunities to build state-of-the-art data analytics and immutable architectures. o Engage with customers onsite, from CACI offices, and remotely when necessary. You''ll Bring These Qualifications: o Hands on customer engagement skills, working directly with the customers in overcoming their data challenges. o Experienced with and using data science and statistical languages, such as R, PowerBI, Tableau, or Qlik, to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets. o Knowledge of statistical techniques and concepts and ability to learn new concepts to apply to trade. o Experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models for visual representation for reporting, both internally and externally. o Understanding of, or desire to learn, applications and technologies related to VM and Cloud environments. o Understanding of, or desire to learn, using serverless technologies, including services like Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, or SAM. o Familiarity with and growing knowledge with scripting in a variety of languages including Python and Ruby or similar o Ability to obtain a Secret (or higher) clearance. o BA or BS degree. Desired Qualifications: o Experience with data analytics, big data, and cloud-native technologies. o Experience with data operations pipeline, machine learning techniques, and working with or creating data architectures. o Knowledge or ability to learn programming languages (such as Python, SQL, C/C++, JAVA, and Perl). o Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments. o Experience with Hadoop, NoSQL and tools such as Storm, Kafka, NiFi, Spark. o MA or MS degree a big plus. o Any education or certification towards AWS Certification family and/or Security+.
