OverviewSkyepoint Decisions, Inc. is urgently hiring for Cyber Engineer Analyst to join our team of outstanding professionals. The ideal candidate will become part of the Department of State (DOS) Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program providing leading cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, effective and secure business processes. The DSCM program encompasses technical, engineering, data analytics, cyber security, management, operational, logistical and administrative support to aid and advise DOS Cyber Security Operations. This includes protecting a global cyber infrastructure comprising networks, systems, information, and mobile devices all while identifying and responding to cyber risks and threats. Those supporting the DSCM program strive to leverage their expert knowledge and propose creative solutions to real-world cybersecurity challenges. This position requires a Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility. These positions are located in Rosslyn, VA. Working with our clients, we link business strategy to operational reality, helping clients integrate, innovate and grow.ResponsibilitiesRespond to security events received from CIRT, provide comprehensive findings and recommended remediation steps Advanced code analysis (e.g. reverse engineering of malicious code) Create, troubleshoot, configure and operate complex scripting solutions with the ability to output the results in a variety of formats (e.g. HTML, XML, etc.) and to repurpose the results for reports targeting different technical levels (e.g. other analysts, management, etc.) Implement and use cyber security frameworks (e.g. MITRE-ATT&CK, Kill Chain, etc.) Travel to domestic and overseas missions to support Cyber Security Assessments (CSA) QualificationsBasic Qualifications:A Bachelor of Science degree and 5 years of experience is required. In lieu of a Bachelor''s degree, 4 years of additional experience may be substituted Possess CASP+ CE, CCNA, CEH, CySA+, GCIH, Security+ CE, or similar certification Active Top Secret security clearance is required with the ability to obtain SCI Has proven proficiency in designing and implementing information assurance and security engineering systems with requirements of business continuity, operations security, cryptography, forensics, regulatory compliance, internal counter-espionage (insider threat detection and mitigation), physical security analysis (including facilities analysis, and security management) Has proven ability to assess and mitigate system security threats and risks throughout the program life cycle.
