Coordinate and implement IgA Nephropathy and FSGS patient education programs at the local levelDeliver accessible and relevant educational information pertaining to IgA Nephropathy and FSGS to address knowledge gaps and empower patients to make informed decisions around their healthcare.Measure programmatic success through evaluations and timely follow-up with participantsDeliver and potentially facilitate the delivery of helpful educational information pertaining to the disease state to patients and advocacy groups at various events (e.g. Booth Exhibits and patient meetings)Develop and maintain professional relationships with local and regional advocacy groups to advance the needs of patientsCompliantly compile and report back data from programsBenchmark patient-facing health education programs across disease states to understand best practices and successful delivery methodsWhat do you need for this position?Current US healthcare professional license: RN or related health care field of studyAssociates Degree/Bachelors/BSN or equivalent work-related experiencePreferred minimum of 3 years experience working in the nephrology disease space.Experience working with diverse patient populations and multi-cultural communities.Knowledge of current trends in health education delivery modelsExperience working externally with health care providers and/or patient advocacy groupsExperience delivering education to patient populations in a group setting on health-related topics.A self-starter with high personal motivation and experience in building out contacts within an assigned territory.Excellent interpersonal and presentation skillsDemonstrate effective, empathetic and professional communicationMust be located within 50 miles of a major airport due to size of geography and amount of travel requiredAbout Ashfield EngageAshfield Engage is a global leader in commercialization services for the healthcare industry.
