DT combines traditional IT with support with digital manufacturing. Successful candidates for this position will be responsible for keeping manufacturing devices connected and communicating along with traditional IT functions such as managing computing platforms for the facility including desktop, laptop, thin-computing, mobile devices, digital signage, conference equipment, and workstation peripheral devices in the office and manufacturing environments. The enterprise DT team, which a successful candidate would be a member, manages inventory and proper destruction of all supported systems and ensures the compliance of all deployed and supported systems throughout the environment. The Senior Technical Support Specialist will work with end-users to address DT client-side problems and requests impacting end-user productivity.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.* Digital manufacturing support and responsibility for network connection for manufacturing devices and the systems those devices interact.* Responsible for resolving complex problems experienced by end-users working with company PCs (desktop and laptop), conference rooms, multi-function printers, thin client terminals, mobile devices, bar-code label printers and scanners.* Procures, configures, and tests computer hardware and software to fulfill requests.* Provides timely resolution of complex problems or escalations on behalf of the end user.* Provide cases status updates to management and end users.* Interacts with third party service providers to resolve problems and fulfil requests.* Perform tasks as assigned by the DT Manager in compliance with end-user standards.* Documents new implementations for the larger team to be able to support those systems in the future.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:* Associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.* Experience and proficiency with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook / Exchange, and Windows 10.* Customer focused with ability to promptly answer support related email, phone calls, and other electronic communications.* Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.* Strong organizational skill with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.* Strong time-management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task and prioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines.* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where requirements are constantly changing.* Self-motivated and can work independently.* Demonstrated ability to work with team members who work remotely in a geographically diverse DT Team Environment.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:* Five (5) or more years of experience in desktop support, service desk, or related experience.* Previous IT experience in a manufacturing environment.* Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.* Prior Infor CSI Systeline Experience* Relevant industry recognized certifications (Certified Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) - IT Infrastructure, Certified ITIL Foundation, A+, etc.).* Experience working with video and audio conferencing (WebEx), end user services certificate management and legacy digital telephone systems.* Experience with Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 including Teams.* Prior Intune support experience on Apple OS environment.WORKING CONDITIONS:Physical Demands: Frequent Sitting, Hearing, Talking, Visual, Typing; Occasional Manual Dexterity; Seldom Standing, Walking/Running, Reaching, Climbing, Driving, Bending/Kneeling, Fine Dexterity, Upper Extremity Repetitive Motion, and Lifting/Carrying and Pushing/Pulling up to 50lbs.Oshkosh is committed to working with and offering reasonable accommodation to job applicants with disabilities.
