Description Engineering Technician II Bremerton, WA Responsibilities: Elevator Support Unit (ESU) technician. ESU team members help identify and correct elevator problems, and assist with maintenance and logistics documentation. Duties shall require a practical application of basic scientific principles involving mathematics, physical and engineering sciences, and knowledge of fundamental engineering concepts. Able to use tact and diplomacy to effectively work with civilian and military personnel. Requirements: * 8 Years of experience in the operation, repair, and maintenance of Naval or marine mechanical systems, including experience that clearly demonstrates the ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, diagrams, or other mechanical technical data pertaining to the construction and operation of Naval (Mechanical;Electrical;Hull) equipment. Knowledge and experience with U.S. Naval Aircraft Carrier, elevator and cargo handling systems is essential. * An Associate Degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college, university or trade school may be substituted for up to two (2) years of technician experience. * US Citizen with Secret Security Clearance ORBIS offers an excellent benefits package and competitive salary in a professional atmosphere.
