Sr. Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

We are seeking highly motivated and innovative Sr Systems Engineer to join our Team ! In this role, you will support research and development (R&D) efforts for the E-2/C-2 Airborne Command and Control Program Office (PMA 231). Role and Responsibilities: * You will be a high-performing member of our Systems Engineering team supporting the Advanced Hawkeye Command and Control platform.* You will team with other professionals solving complex problems to meet team goals as well as interfacing with government and other contractor personnel in a team environment. * Researching cost-effectiveness of emerging technologies, performing trade studies, experimentation* Perform gap analysis and experimentation to identify alternatives for design, development, testing and upgrade alternatives.* Identify advantages and disadvantages of various alternatives to production and fielding.* Perform trade studies, evaluation, and develop recommendations for technology insertion upgrades.* Analyze software simulations and models, recommend modifications for enhancements.* Develop new simulations of the data fusion associated with system integration, advance sensor performance, and the performance of integrated sensor packages.* May provide work leadership for lower-level employees. Basic Qualifications: * Masters Degree Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience from an accredited college or university. * A minimum 10 years applicable progressively complex systems design engineering experience, including integration of complex hardware/software systems.* Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A current Secret Clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI). Preferred Experience * Develops and applies advanced methods, theories and research techniques in investigation and solution of complex and difficult system design requirements and problems* Plans, conducts and technically directs projects or major phases of significant projects, coordinating the efforts of engineers and technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects. * Conducts investigations of considerable complexity. Reviews literature, patents and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects. Reviews completion and implementation of systems additions and/or enhancements and recommends corrections in technical application and analysis to management* Evaluates vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.
