Lead Engineering Technician with Security Clearance

Job Title: Engineering Technician Lead Job Location: Little Creek, VA Salary: Competitive, Depends on Qualifications Clearance: SecretTravel: CONUS and potential OCONUS Purpose: The purpose of this contract is to provide subject matter expertise through program management, engineering, technical, logistics and knowledge-based services in support of NSW''s Dry Combat Submersible (DCS) units, Dry Deck Shelters (DDS), Seal Delivery Vehicles (SDV), Shallow Water Combat Submersible (SWCS) and other support equipment to ensure assets are mission ready. *****THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARDING OF A GOVERNMENT CONTRACT***** Responsibilities (include but not limited to): * Provide oversight and supervision of contractor engineering technicians, and assist with maintenance, troubleshooting and technical expertise on all projects to ensure all work meets required specifications. * Provides overall technical oversight and supervision of maintenance. * Assist with the installation and testing of advanced submarine technology. * Assist with the evaluation of deficiencies and sustainability of submarine and submersible systems and components. * Assist with rigging and handling evolutions in support of mission requirements. * Provide project status and work updates as necessary. Requirements and Education: * HS Diploma or GED plus six (6) years related experience or BA/BS and two (2) years related experience. * Minimum six (6) years of technical experience, supply chain administration, and use of MS Office suite. * Secret level Clearance * Prior Military submersible technical and/or electrical experience preferred. * Must complete all NSWG-8 IMD rigging and handling qualifications within 6 months. *****THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARDING OF A GOVERNMENT CONTRACT***** About the company: As a Service Disabled, Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) we are a provider of Information Technology (IT) professional services, software solutions and professional development training.
