Job Description:Xenith Solutions is seeking a Database Administrator to support a DoD program at Scott AFB, IL. Responsibilities, but not limited to: Primary responsibilities will be to monitor and optimize performance of the database, plan for backup and recovery of the database, and allocate system storage and plan future storage needs. Create database-related scripts and programs to support development and production environments. Individual will be involved in the planning and development of the database, as well as in troubleshooting any issues on behalf of the users. * Implement security measures for computer or information systems Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGS)* Develop computer or information security policies or procedures based on government policy* Update computer database information* Create databases to store electronic data* Set database parameters or specifications* Develop guidelines for system implementation* Develop performance metrics or standards related to information technology* Coordinate project activities with other personnel or departments* Read documents to gather technical information* Estimate time or monetary resources needed to complete projects* Train others in computer interface or software use* Coordinate software or hardware installation* Develop detailed project plans* Analyze data to identify trends or relationships among variables* Analyze market or customer related data* Develop models of information or communications systems Required Qualifications:* Active Secret Clearance* 3 to 10 years of experience as a Database administrator, preferably Oracle 19* Bachelor''s degree in computer engineering or computer science* Familiarity with Oracle database design, coding, and documentation.* Knowledge of database backup procedures, recovery systems, and SQL.* Knowledge of programming languages.* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint* Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders* Ability to effectively solve problems* Strong communication skills, both oral and written* A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment* Prior experience in project management support preferred* Previous work with USTRANSCOM is a plus Xenith Solutions LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business founded in 2019.
