Whether you operate material handling equipment to unload or replenish inventory, fulfill orders or prepare the orders for shipments, you will be an integral component of our business. Here, teamwork, innovative thinking and attention to detail are the keys to our success.SUMMARY* Team Member can perform some or all of the jobs needed to move the product through the Fulfillment Center. This includes any function from receiving, selection, driving equipment and shipping.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES* Unloader: Unloads and stages the inbound freight for detailing* Detailer: Sorts and separates cases of product, also Verifies the pack, size and quantity of each article that comes in the FC. Labels the product for putaway* Driver/Stocker: Uses powered equipment when needed to put product away from the dock or to replenish product for selection.* Selector: Accurately selects items and packs them into the correct cartons for shipment to our stores. Will be required to utilize powered equipment while selecting some orders* Line Operator: Monitors the strappers and makes sure the cartons are in the correct sequence. They also make sure there is an end of wave tote for every wave. Will be continuously lifting and loading cartons onto a conveyor line.* Loader: Loads cartons high and tight in the trailers to maximize the cube. Also monitors the carton labels to ensure we load the correct cartons in the trailers.* Housekeeper: Detail cleans under the racks and any other area of the FC that would not be kept clean by the selectors. Collects and compacts cardboard throughout the FC.SKILLS / COMPETENCIES* Able to achieve/maintain production requirements* Attentive to all aspects of the environment while working* Able to work effectively for significant periods of time in a location with little interpersonal contact* Able to work well with others* Sensitive to the diversity and needs of others* Support company values and support company objectives* Regular and Predictable Attendance* Available to work scheduled hours to include overtime and weekends as required* Comfortable with working at elevated altitudePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS* Must be able to stand and/or walk on concrete for a minimum of 8 hours per day* Must be able to lift between 50-70 pounds unassistedEDUCATION / EXPERIENCE* Education Minimum: Less than High school* Experience Minimum: 0-2 years Warehouse experience and/or power equipment experienceThis position will be located at:1020 Enterprise Parkway West Jefferson, OH 43162JOANN is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
