Press Operators Mechanicsville, VA, USA Req 4901 Monday, March 21, 2022 JOB SUMMARY: Perform daily press operations required to manufacture Lee Enterprises and contract print publications in a cost-effective manner, with the highest quality standards available using existing technology. This includes but is not limited to preparing, operating and maintaining newspaper printing presses and all associated plate, press and reel room equipment. Make pasters, web presses, load rolls, hang printing plates, set color and registration and perform general equipment cleaning and maintenance tasks. Meet customer expectations for reproduction quality, content freshness and productivity, while managing materials consumption cost-effectively. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
