Cybersecurity Task Lead - NICHD with Security Clearance

OCCAM Solutions is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Task Lead to join our team. As an ideal candidate, you have proven experience in cyber security and security programs, such as FISMA compliance, Security +, or CISSP. Your ability to evaluate and analyze complex information will be critical. Position Description: • Support the development and implementation of NICHD security program goals and objectives and help establish program milestones and activities • Provide security team leadership, manage day-to-day operations of the onsite team, ensure appropriate resource allocation, team development and service delivery • Help identify and report on security program risks and metrics, perform data collection, and process development • Support the planning and alignment of activities into actionable schedules, lifecycles, and project plans, in alignment with NICHD''s enterprise architecture planning • Work with Assessment & Authorization (A&A) team to support NICHD''s A&A program to help ensure internal and external systems maintain FISMA compliance • Attend HHS/NIH level security meetings and keep ISSO and security team apprised of upcoming initiatives and deadline • Manage resources and ensure security team is meeting project milestones • Act as liaison between the Program and Technical Management, Network, Desktop, and Database Teams and ensure security priorities are effectively communicated across functional areas • Ensure delivery of weekly security task status reports and other program reporting as needed Required Experience: • This position requires a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience - At least 3 or more years of project management experience • Need to develop a Cyber strategy • At least 3 years of experience developing or updating cyber security policies and guidance • Engineering experience with one or more of the following tools: BigFix, Nessus, Tenable Security Center, Cylance Protect, Splunk (or other SIEM devices), Tripwire, Carbon Black, ForeScout, FireEye • Basic knowledge of all facets of information security operations, including: vulnerability assessment, tools, and remediation, risk management, host and network intrusion detection, anti-virus technologies, firewalls, SIEM, incident response, and forensic analysis • Ability to speak to the assessment, design, implementation, maintenance and maturity of the tools currently being using at NICHD • Experience directly interfacing with senior government leads/clients, leading programs or task orders, resolving client issues • Demonstrated experience in managing program schedules, budget and contractual or task requirements Optional Qualifications: • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent beneficial • Professional security certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP, etc.) • Broad understanding of FISMA requirements as it relates to the A&A process
