Jr. Cloud Administrator with Security Clearance

Responsibilities PeopleTec is currently seeking a Jr. Cloud Administrator to support our Huntsville, AL location. PeopleTec is headquartered in Huntsville, AL, and is currently looking to grow our Cloud Services team. This individual will have ample growth opportunities, not only through ongoing learning opportunities like paid certs but from shared knowledge within a cohesive team. Duties Include: * Monitor systems performance and maintain operations * Control access to systems * Manage and maintain backups for systems * Update, configure, build and maintain systems and support infrastructure * Record, troubleshoot, and solve issues identified by users * Work independently and with other engineers on requirements development, system architecture, and system design * Execute field operations support for customer event activities Qualifications Required Skills/Experience : * Experience with the following technologies: Azure AD Office 365 Windows Server DNS DHCP VPN Clients Group Policy Folder Permissions Firewalls Network connectivity issues Microsoft Office Applications * Must have Security+ CE or CISSP Certification and Operating System Certification (Windows) * Experience with administration of Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 10, Windows Server 2012/2016/2019) * Understanding of modern TCP/IP networking fundamentals for local area networks * Familiar with managing and maintaining Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services * Experience with Virtual Machines and hardware virtualization technology * Experience with STIG processes/procedures * Travel: 10% * Must be a U.S. Citizen * An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment. Education Requirements : 2-5+ years of experience as a System/Network Administrator and familiarity of MS Cloud configurations and BS Degree in technical field Desired Skills : * Understanding of Information Assurance (IA) systems: Host-Based Security System (HBSS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Nessus * Understanding of Microsoft SQL components * Familiarity with Microsoft IIS and SharePoint services * Familiarity with cyber processes * Operating system certification * Cloud certification ****Position pending contract award***** Overview People First.
