Overview of Team:The US Data Integrity team comprises over 50 employees across multiple geographies. Our team enhances the value of IQVIA''s syndicated offerings by serving as a trusted partner to our clients. We provide expertise, timely insights & solutions, enabling clients to appropriately use our data to formulate better business decisions.Overview of Role:The successful candidate will conduct a full range of programming tasks including program design, program coding, debugging, and documentation for a variety of general applications programs including data manipulation, input and output routines, update/modify application programs to increase scalability and improve business process efficiency.Principle Accountabilities:* Conducts and coordinates the analysis, design and implementation of computer-based information systems to meet user requirements.* Participates in systems software development and maintenance as required.* Conducts detailed analyses of defined systems specifications, develops all levels of block diagrams and flow charts.* Program design, coding, debugging, and documentation for applications programs.* Programs logical interfaces and applies techniques for efficient program logic and data manipulation.* May identify and implement root cause fixes to program, system and/or applications errors.Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Requirements:* Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Math, or Statistics required.* 3-5 years of experience in systems analysis/application programming required.* Experience in Oracle* Programming: Strong skills in Spark, Scala, SQL, Python.* Experience with deploying code into production through CI/CD tools like Jenkins* Experience working with large datasets and big data tools/environment such as Cloudera, Spark, Hadoop ecosystem like YARN, Hive, Impala, HDFS.* Experience designing and implementing Rest API* Knowledge of Linux command line tools* Knowledge of statistics/life sciences/healthcare technology* Knowledge of classical Machine Learning and deep learning methods.* Previous experience using Microsoft software tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access)Additional Requirements:* Collaborates with data scientists, data engineers, and other developers to turn working prototypes into well-abstracted, reusable python modules for iterative development of data science projects.* Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals* Demonstrates strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills* Possesses effective time management and strong verbal and written skills* Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and an understanding of the marketplace is beneficialIQVIA is a leading global provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions and clinical research services to the life sciences industry.
