OverviewThe Analytics Sales Manager position will be supporting our CTech Analytical Solutions products- visit our website to learn more- /Position is remote-based, ideally located in Southern CA- (Greater LA area, San Diego, etc)Repligen is seeking a highly motivated and experienced technical sales professional for the analytics market, primarily driving the growth of the Slope Spectroscopy® instrumentation products. This includes the SoloVPE® and FlowVPE®/ FlowVPXâ„¢variable pathlength systems. The systems are sold primarily into the pharmaceutical and biotech industries and are typically used for quantifying concentrations of proteins, monoclonal antibodies, gene therapy products and oligonucleotides in drug discovery, process development, manufacturing, analytical development, and QC laboratories. This role will drive territory sales, strategic planning to build new accounts, and achieve deeper penetration of new and existing accounts across the Northeastern US territory. The territory will include the states: Southern CA, NV, CO, NM, AZ, UT, HIThe ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of motivation to succeed, highly developed sales and territory management skill sets in the Life Sciences and bioprocessing industry sector and is now looking for the next challenge at a rapidly evolving and innovative bioprocessing-focused life sciences company. An ideal candidate will have experience selling analytical tools to the bio-processing industry, preferably into accounts like Roche, Genentech, Amgen, Bayer, Gilead, AbbVie, Emergent and other pharma & biotech accounts.The role is part of the Analytics Customer Success Group, reporting directly to the Director of Sales for North America. This is a home office-based role, and will ideally be located in Southern CA. Depending on where you live this role may require approximately 50-60% travel may be necessary, post-pandemic. You should also have easy access to a major airport. Car allowance and fuel allowance are offered.ResponsibilitiesEssential Responsibilities:* Set sales strategy and drive execution of local territory sales strategy.* Drive the sales process to meet or exceed sales and profitability targets* Develop and execute a territory management plan* Own and drive key strategic projects to support the sales process* Leverage other members of the Customer Success Teams i.e. FAS team for demos & applications development* Conduct sales negotiations* Establish and maintain Strategic Key Account relationships* Develop new target accounts across the territory* Provide accurate and timely sales reporting and forecasting with a market leading CRM tool (SFDC)* Interface with Business Leaders and Product Managers to ensure that appropriate products, market and competitive information is shared in an accurate and timely manner* Support the development of sales collaterals* Execute all aspects of field sales activities to include customer visits, technical presentations and laboratory demonstrations* Attend, manage, and follow up on trade show activities, and other marketing activitiesQualificationsQualifications & Skills / Requirements:* A minimum of a BS degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent* A minimum of 8+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical or life science industries* Willing to travel extensively throughout the territory as needed* Proven ability to build mutually beneficial, personable, trusting relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners* Strong analytical and forecasting skills* Outstanding interpersonal skills, ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional team members and lead through influence* Excellent negotiation and contracting skills.* Ability to ''get the job done''/ ''can-do'' attitude and take responsibility for results without direct authority.* Attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, good analytical and problem-solving skills, multi-tasking skills, and strong organizational skills* Demonstrates and champions the core values of the companyLI-NS1 LI-REMOTELI-NS1LI-REMOTE
