Watch Officer with Security Clearance

Watch Officer Venatore is seeking a senior Coordinating Authority/Watch Officer currently in year one of a seven-year contract.Position is based in Doral, FL DESCRIPTION:Will monitor our customer''s Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC) containing information on our customer''s classified and unclassified networks. Responsible for the monitoring, identification of issues, documentation of issues, coordination of planned system outages, coordination with users in the AOR, After-hours monitor of the networks, and overall first point of contact into networks.Chosen individual will work on providing technical monitoring of the networks and its many programs, tools, and telecommunications.Job Responsibilities:• Technical monitoring of NIPR and SIPR networks via Solarwinds. • Experience providing overall IT support and (system hardware and software) activities and general desktop troubleshooting• Experience coordinating communications outage resolution and reporting working with technicians and government leadership• Process and coordinate Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI) • Experience with Windows 10, Internet Explorer, Remedy Trouble Ticketing, OneNote, SharePoint, Outlook Web Application, Orion SolarWinds, TCOSS• Desktop, Laptop, and PC Platforms; network and standalone printers/copier/and fax machines• MS Outlook: distribution lists & organizational mailboxes• MS Office, proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint• Strong communication skills (oral and written) and problem-solving abilities• Ability to juggle multiple situations, priorities and re-prioritize IAW NOSC procedures• High level of motivation, self-starter, ability to quickly identify what needs to be accomplished• Well organized and detail-oriented with good follow-up skills• Good communication skills to interact with team members, customers, and support personnel• Shift work - 12-hour shifts. Required Qualifications:• Active TS/SCI clearance• 8+ years of experience. Additional experience in lieu of formal education will be considered on a case-by-case basis• Shiftwork will be required for this role• This position requires being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by December 8, 2021 or the start date, if after December 8.
