Mid Level Software Developer with Security Clearance

Required Education, Experience, & Skills The Mid-Level Software Engineer will design Windows & Linux software capabilities based on system requirements. Contributes to system-level design and partitioning in order to optimize overall system performance and reliability. Translates detailed design into computer software. Tests, debugs, and refines the computer software to produce the required product. Prepares both program-level and user-level documentation. Enhances software to reduce operating times or improve efficiency. May provide technical direction to programmers to ensure program deadlines are met. Minimum/General Experience: Mid-Level (Intermediate) * Five (5) or more years of technical experience as a developer on host applications and/or embedded processing systems;* Experience in deriving design specifications for functional activities;* Experience in Windows & Linux application and driver development;* Ability to develop complex software to satisfy design objectives for applicable Government computer equipment;* Experience in networking protocols such as Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and network-based communication protocols, including reverse-engineering of applications, as needed;* Experience in the use of programming languages such as C, C++, C and .NET Framework; and* Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems.
