We are looking for an experienced practitioner of the DBS growth commercial tools (or equivalents) to fulfill a crucial role in the continuous improvement of our Sales and Marketing organizations. The Senior Manager DBS, Global Commercial (SMDBS-GC) guides continuous improvement of processes, teams, and individuals in our commercial organization by improving our ability to gain impact from the usage of DBS fundamental and growth tools. The SMDBS-GC works closely with sales and marketing leadership to apply our growth tools thoughtfully and maximize their impact on commercial KPIs. This role is tasked with creating a culture that empowers associates by increasing their DBS knowledge, skills, and participation. Included in the scope of this role is the facilitation of kaizen events using fundamental + growth tools, managing the education and adoption of DBS principles, and enhancing usage of our foundational Funnel Management, Digital Marketing Problem Solving Process, and Visual + Daily Management tools.Job PurposeWork with people leaders to build and a culture that embraces continuous improvement and the ability to detect and close performance gaps before they have a negative impact on our KPIs. Drive knowledge and impactful usage of growth and fundamental tools to the lowest possible levels of our global commercial organization.Engage with the DBSO office to learn and share best practices and business case examples of growth DBS toolsDrive DBS engagement with commercial team members by helping them utilize the tools to make a positive impact upon their personal and teams performance.Key Responsibilities:Continuously improve business processes by applying DBS growth + fundamental tools to a regularly updated problem funnel developed through collaboration with leadership.Engage and educate associates and people leaders to build a culture of continuous improvement and enable individuals and teams to utilize DBS tools to make the impact of their work visible.Work with people leaders to identify and develop certified practitioners in growth DBS tools that can accelerate our rate of continuous improvement.Be the organization wide expert for Funnel Management and other key growth tools.Lead completion of critical projects and initiatives through the use of formal Action PlansDevelop and maintain working knowledge of the DBS Growth & Fundamental tools via 1 point lessons, bootcamps, specific tool trainings, and train the trainer programs.Qualifications and Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a DBSL or 3 years in utilizing DBS growth and fundamental tools.Certified Practitioner status for at least one Growth or Fundamental DBS tool (PSP, V&DM,TPI,SW,VOC/CI,5S,VSM, FM, LEx, VS-2.0, etc) and completion of the DBS PSP course, Daily Management Course, and TFTI Course preferred.Documented success in facilitation and sustainment of at least 5 kaizens.Demonstrated success in instructing and driving adoption of process improvement principles with people leaders and individual contributors.Skills and Attributes: Written and oral presentation skills that both engage and informPassion for guiding associates to reach organizational innovation objectives and individual developmental goals.Desire to obtain and analyze information from internal and external customers to help teams identify and achieve KPI targets aligned to their customers expectations.Ability to travel to Molecular Devices facilities or customer sites for 15%-40% of workdaysAbility to work collaboratively with professionals across Molecular Devices organizational structure (sales, marketing, R&D, Innovation, Service, Operations, Finance, HR)Danaher Values:Performs all duties and responsibilities in line with the Danaher values.The Best Team Wins Associates are our most valued assets.Were passionate about retaining, developing and recruiting the best talent available.Danaher and its associates win because:We are Team-Oriented with Involvement by All.We seek Fact-Based, Root Cause Solutions; not Blame.We are Accountable for Results, and We Deliver.We are Non-political and Not Bureaucratic.We have High Integrity and Respect for Others.Winning is FunCustomers Talk, We ListenQuality First, ALWAYS!We base our strategic plan on the Voice-of-the-Customer.Robust, repeatable processes yield superior Quality, Delivery, and Cost that satisfy our customers beyond their expectations.Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) is Our Way of LifeThe Danaher Business System IS our culture.We aggressively and continuously eliminate waste in every facet of our business processes.Leading Edge Innovation Defines Our Future We continuously apply our creativity to the technologies of products, services, and processes.Out-of -the Box ideas, both large and small, add value to our enterprise.We accomplish breakthroughs through the Policy Deployment process.We Compete For ShareholdersProfits are important because they attract and retain loyal shareholders .Shareholders secure our future by providing capital for investment and growth .LI-MH3When you join us, youll also be joining Danahers global organization, where 80,000 people wake up every day determined to help our customers win.
