The Quality Manager - Pacific Northwest is responsible for the Quality programs, systems, processes and procedures and that the performance and quality of services conform to established regulatory and accreditation requirements. Participates in the internal and external audit program and resolution of audit, inspection, and investigation findings; manages the nonconforming event program and manages document control. Oversees compliance with CLIA, CAP, and other regulatory and accreditation requirements. Completes assigned projects and works inter-departmentally to drive best practices and continuous improvement.What to ExpectPromotes a culture of quality.Partners with Laboratory and Quality leadership to develop quality goals and objectives.Develops positive and supportive working relationships with management and staff.Ensures all laboratories within the assigned areas maintain current federal, state and local licensure and accreditations, as applicable.Maintaining a regulatory readiness at all times.Provides guidance for laboratories in implementing policies with respect to regulatory, accreditation requirements and best practices.Audits laboratories to identify quality issues, nonconformities and opportunities for improvement.Formulates responses to accreditation and regulatory citations, nonconforming events and complaints.Monitors outcomes of root cause analysis, corrective action and effectiveness checks.Facilitates process improvement activities.Hosts meetings and records accurate minutes to communicate site or project progress as measured by Key Performance Indicators.Collects summary data for management reports regarding quality indicators, internal and external audit outcomes, and complaints.Participates and/or leads in Quality meetings, Improvement teams and Regulatory initiatives.Provides and ensures training for Labcorp quality policies and procedures.Maintains and coordinates communications between laboratories in the assigned areas, provides assistance where indicated on quality related issues.Provides excellent communication with the Divisional Quality Director.Other job duties as applicable.Education and Qualification(s)Normally a Bachelors in Laboratory Science (or related field) w/4-5 years of Clinical Laboratory experience.Notes: Prefer Quality Manager applicants from Washington State but can reside in Washington, Idaho, Oregon, CaliforniaThis Quality Professional will regionally travel up to 25% as needed.Labcorp vehicle is available for site visit(s)Mobile phone is providedPrefer someone with Lean/Six Sigma experienceLabcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer:As an EOE/AA employer, the organization will not discriminate in its employment practices due to an applicant''s race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or veteran status.For more information about how we collect and store your personal data, please see our Privacy Statement.
