LabCorp is seeking a Training Coordinator to join its team in Burlington, NC. This position will be responsible for the organization, development and execution of training and onboarding for new employees. The ideal candidate must be able to be an independent self-starter, collaborate with leadership teams, passionate about training, continuous-improvement-oriented, and motivated to work with a client-centric team in an innovative company.Requirements:BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology or related life science is requiredMinimum 1-2 years of relevant laboratory experiencePrevious training or leadership experience is a plusStrong communication skills; both written and verbalHigh attention to detail and time management skillsComfortable working under minimal direct supervisionBasic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteThe working schedule for this position will be: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm. Will also flex as needed for training purposes. Job Duties/Responsibilities:Assist with the onboarding of new employees as well as initial training to ensure a positive new hire experienceProvide on-going group and individualized training for purposes of work performance enhancement and general educationDeliver training in the areas of company and department policies and procedures and department specific competency standards; this includes both formal bench training and informal information communication/updatesWork with the Instructional Design Team to develop the content for and implement appropriate resources and programs to accomplish training objectivesEvaluate and update existing training documentation and plans; create new training documentation and plans for new projects/assaysAssist the Quality Team in internal training documentation audits; provide training updates in Monthly Quality MeetingsMaintain the training documents hosted in the Competency Management SystemServe as a procedural and compliance resource for department employeesSupport leadership with their goals in relation to quality and service metricsAssist with the creation of training plans for underperforming employeesMaintain accurate logs and records for all trainings conductedInitiate and maintain communication between the Management, Quality, R&D, MDS, and Instructional Design teams to ensure training is effective and new training is implemented in a timely fashionCommunicate training timelines and important deadlines with laboratory managementProvide training with respect and professionalism at all timesAssist with the workflow during times of high volume or when coverage is neededResearch industry related information when necessaryAdditional administrative tasks as neededLabcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer:As an EOE/AA employer, the organization will not discriminate in its employment practices due to an applicant''s race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or veteran status.For more information about how we collect and store your personal data, please see our Privacy Statement.
