Together we are building a world that is safe, comfortable, and balanced.Required Duties Include but not limited to:Service persons must have working experience in residential, light commercial or commercial mechanical equipment.May be required to satisfactorily pass an examination as to identify special skills.Our scope of work shall be limited to commercial HVACR service.You may partner with Journeymen in the repair of centrifugal, steam turbines, and absorption machines, open-drive screw chillers and ammonia systems.Perform maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.Required:* High School Diploma or equivalent.* Two (2) years Commercial and/or industrial, mechanical troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry.* Participate to a 30-Hour OSHA Certification which is to be done after hours and weekends is required upon hire.* Digitally savvy with good verbal and written communication skills.Preferred:* Five (5) years of Commercial and or industrial work experience in the HVAC industry* Refrigeration Certification preferred* EPA Universal Refrigerant CertificationThis is a Bargaining Unit Position.Johnson Controls International plc. is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a qualified individual with a disability or any other characteristic protected by law.
