Configuration SupervisorOnsite - Shakopee MNThe Configuration Supervisor will be responsible for the direct supervision of the Configuration team and assist the Configuration Manager in the general management of the Department. This is a working supervisor position that includes, working directly in multi-customer, multi-vendor configuration projects, as well as providing leadership and direction to employees working on the same scope of project work.This position will be involved in project initiation, coordination and documentation and is responsible for the setup, configuration and testing of customer equipment required for major configuration rollouts. The Configuration Supervisor helps to ensure configuration projects are delivered on-time, within budget and at 100% accuracy. This position will be involved in data entry for status and reporting information and this individual works closely with the Project Management and Warehouse Teams to ensure projects goals are met. This individual will be responsible for the initial orientation, training, direction, and coordination of members of the configuration team.Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Provide leadership, motivation, and direction to Configuration team members on all aspects of project work Understand project requirements and timelines Participate in project meetings Work hands on with physical configuration of project devices and shipment consolidation Work with project technicians to maintain configuration guides and documentation Works to meet project deadlines for configuration, consolidation, & shipment to customers Understands configuration best practices for inventory maintenance and control to minimize configuration team negative impact on audits Occasional support of remote field technicians Test and troubleshoot new and existing configuration processes Document issues and communicate with customer for resolution Work with Configuration Team project teams on accurate reporting of project statuses Assist Configuration Manager in daily supervision of configuration personnel resources on active projects Promotes teamwork and identifies opportunities for growth and synergy Provide the Configuration Manager with performance feedback for members of the Configuration team Actively performs and coordinates Configuration audits including documentation and processes Responds to team issues with de-escalation skills and low-level conflict resolution to ensure proper team cohesion and workflow escalating to Configuration Manager when necessary Assists the Lead Configuration Technician on areas of technical escalation and technical training for team members Performs other team management duties as neededQualifications and Experience Required: High School Diploma required, bachelor s degree (in Information Technology or management) or equivalent related work experience preferred Minimum 3 years in an IT related field 3+ years of lead experience Prior leadership experience a plus Must have valid driver s license Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite tools Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Very good verbal and written communication skills Ability to accurately track, troubleshoot and problem solve Enthusiastic with exceptional organizational skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize appropriately Dependable Ability to work independently and manage one''s own time effectively Willingness to offer solutions for proper improvements Any relevant certifications a plusFor more information please contact Tom Mazzulla ator Since 1995, iTech Solutions Inc., has been providing IT Consulting and Direct Hire Services to the Insurance, Financial, Communications, Manufacturing and Government sectors with local offices in Connecticut, Minnesota, Colorado, Massachusetts, Tennessee, North Carolina, and New Jersey / Pennsylvania area.
