SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

TITLE: SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER LOCATION: SAN DIEGO, CA USA ONSITE: FROM DAY1 PREFERRED CANDIDATE: Familiar with QC SW/HW and platform Testing and Extensive Test Automation/Development We are looking for a contractor/consultant with extensive python and automation experience to help put together a Test Framework/Depot what we are calling as a DV package to enable embedded testing of Automotive platforms. The person will need to be very knowledgeable and have significant experience developingh Python automation frameworks such as Robot/Pabot and shell scripting capabilities to own a framework that will be used to scale across multiple chipsets /Platforms. The Framework and Depot together will be used for Design verification and test automation for the Automotive platforms and Chipsets . This is planned deliverables to customers who are licensee for our ADAS product and quality nis parameount. Below is a summary of the ask. PV/DV Test Development and Automation RESPONSIBILITIES: Interface with internal teams on use-cases translate into comprehensive test requirements and test development artifacts The Ideal Candidate will possess the following qualifications: Master''s or higher degree in Engineering is preferred. Experience and working knowledge of Automotive Systems and/or Similar Embedded platforms. Experience with Developing framework for Sanity, Performance, Power and Thermal Testing, Fault injection mechanisms Depth of knowledge in at least one or more key technology areas is expected (e.g., Testing automation. Power and Thermal). Excellent Communication Skills Technical Skill Exposure: Python, Robot/Pabot or similar test frameworks, python , QNX, Embedded Programming, C, C++, python - provided by Dice
