Senior DeveloperCurrent Top Secret clearance requiredQuantico, VA Minimum/General Experience: An individual who is skilled in multiple web application languages and have a strong background in building scalable, user intuitive, high-quality and high performing web applications ranging from a high mid-level and a senior. The Senior Applications Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining internal facing web applications. Experience with Reporting Services, PowerShell, and SQL Server 2008/SQL Server 2012. Functional Responsibility: The Senior Applications Developer shall ensure the environments are properly maintained and operational. The Developer shall be available for O&M support during core FBI hours Monday through Friday, EST, excluding Federal holidays. Support shall include but is not limited to the following: Develop and maintain server side code using ASP.NET in C.Develop and maintain client side code using HTML 5, JavaScript, jQuery, BootStrap, and CSS.Mentor junior level team members and share knowledge.Possess an understanding of functional programming and test driven development.Experience with designing and working with ASP.NET MVC 5, Entity Framework, RESTful Services, Reporting Services, and Team Foundation Server.Knowledge of software design patterns.Implement automated testing to support continuous deployment.Support all activities throughout the implementations of projects to include; installation and maintenance.Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, properly structured, meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.Provide recommendations for improvements to site architecture, design, and functionality. 11. Troubleshoot and debug applications that occur outside the regular release cycle.Develop, implement and maintain change control and testing processes for application modifications.Creation and maintenance of technical documentation such as application process schematics.Other tasks as deemed necessary by the Program Manager or designated Government project lead. Recommended Education/Experience: BS in Computer Science or related field is preferred and/or 10+ years'' experience developing custom web applications. Additional Requirements: Must have at least one year experience with C, .NET framework, Javascript, Windows Presentation Format (WPF), Python, and Windows Forms (WinForms).Experience with Apache NiFi, Kibana, Docker, REST Services, SQL, PostGRES databases, Azure environment, Azure PowerShell, XML, JSON, Linux and GitLab would be beneficial.Should have a working knowledge of IT system security best practices.Must be able to generate and communicate requirements and system dependencies to internal and external groups.Must be able to independently work on a project and have initiative to communicate internally and externally.Work location is on-site during core hours at a facility in Stafford, VA.
