We are currently seeking a Senior FMS Management Analyst to support our Pax River, MD customer. The Senior Analyst applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget, and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes, and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Tracks management, and data management. Demonstrates experience in the program/project status and schedules. Demonstrated training/knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV and OSD policy and documentation related to PPBS, life-cycle management of military acquisition programs (as specified in the DoD 5000 series). Supports training efforts through the integration of documents into Government databases. Demonstrates experience processing program acquisition, funding, and contract documentation for military programs. This position supports the Avionics team with Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) resolution, maintaining status of active IPT risks, helping coordinate Statements of work (SOW) development, initiating Procurement Initiation Documents (PID), and assisting Level 2 and 3 Team Leads in Battle Rhythm brief preparation and the day-to-day operations of the Avionics IPT. The incumbent will report to the MH-60R Avionics IPT lead. This position will also serve as a mentor and train junior analysts on procedures and tasks to be executed by analysts. The candidate will be the interface between the analysts and the Level 2 IPTLs: * Provide feedback on the analysts to include areas that need additional training * Provide feedback on progress and recommendation on level loading the workload Must be willing to take on additional tasks when a junior analyst needs assistance and execute the work required by one of the Level 3 IPTLs, in addition to the above responsibilities. Required Education: MS/MA Degree. Education requirement must be fulfilled by a degree in in a Program Management, Technical, or Business analysis discipline. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION : A PMI certification and an additional two (2) years of experience in program management, technical, or business analysis discipline, related to weapon systems acquisition and life cycle management can be substituted for an MS or MA degree. Required Experience: Over 10 years. Experience requirements must be fulfilled through experience in weapon systems acquisition, life cycle management, and weapon systems analysis and planning. Demonstrated experience in the program/project status and schedules. Demonstrated knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV and OSD policy and documentation related to PPBS, life-cycle management of military acquisition programs (as specified in the DoD 5000 series). Demonstrated experience processing program acquisition, funding and contract documentation for military programs, updates program/project status and schedules. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation and change control. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
