Position Description Discover you place with Serco! Serco has a great opportunity for you to take a leadership role in supporting U.S. Navy Weapon System international engagement and coordination. Join an integrated government-industry team in Arlington, VA to communicate and coordinate with representatives of the Norwegian Ministry of Defense, U.S. Navy program office, and industry from both Norway and the United States to help acquire, manage, and support a state-of-the-art Naval weapon system. Use your expertise and collaborative skills to positively impact our national and cooperative defense and make a difference in support of the United States Navy. This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain your active Secret level clearance. Serco will provide technical support to its customer, a defense acquisition program management office which is responsible for the development, acquisition, production, fielding, and lifetime support of surface ship missile systems. This mid-to-senior-level position has aspects of defense acquisition management, systems engineering, and other related skills. In this role you will: * Provide subject matter expertise for the procurement and support of international missile products for the U.S. Navy and international customers. * On behalf of the program office customer, serve as the relationship and engagement lead to communicate and coordinate with representatives of the Norwegian Ministry of Defense, U.S. Navy program office, and industry from both Norway and the United States to help acquire, manage, and support the Over the Horizon Weapon System. * Be the principal action officer for international issues, actions, meetings, formal responses, and other related activities. * Understand and be the principal action lead for the process of data exchange, information releasability, security reviews and approval of documents, and technology transfer. * Coordinate and participate in activities related to potential foreign sales of surface missiles, launchers, and associated support products. * Provide technical management support for program planning, development of program documentation, contract deliverable requirements, and implementation of strategies for integration of international weapons systems in U.S. ship classes. * Assist in the planning, coordination, and participation in reviews/meetings held in the U.S. or in-country such as Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Technical Reviews, User conferences, Requirements Reviews, and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) meetings/reviews. * Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will have: * Bachelor''s Degree and 5-7 years of experience in Defense Acquisition, Weapon Systems, Acquisition program office, International Program Support or related industry experience. * An active DoD Secret Security Clearance is required to be considered. * Must be a U.S. Citizen. * Foreign Military Sales (FMS) or International Cooperative program experience is required. * Excellent organizational, internal team communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project. * Experience with MS Office 365 collaborative tools such as SharePoint and Teams, and familiarity with data visualization tools. Additional desired experience and skills: * A Bachelor''s degree in a technical or STEM discipline desired. * Work experience may be adjusted based on an advanced degree. Degree requirements may be adjusted based on additional related experience, highly specialized knowledge, or uniquely applicable experience. * Experience in Naval missile systems desired.
