The Director, North America HR Delivery Center (HRDC) will manage HR operations of a regional MyHR Delivery Center site throughout North America (US, PR & Canada). This includes managing team leads, support staff, and the overall service delivery as it pertains to the HR service components. The Director will be responsible for interacting with the Global HR Operations team and HR at large, to develop and manage SLAs and metrics used to determine operational excellence.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide leadership of the Employee Service Center, including:Overall service delivery, workflow, issue escalations, staffing and schedulingStrategic direction and execution of regional PayrollExecution of regional Talent AcquisitionExecution of regional Total Rewards deliveryExecution of regional Data ManagementOversees selection, interview, and hiring process for team membersParticipates in strategic planning for Global HR OperationsSupports change programs and initiatives; Drives adherence to processes and policiesSupports colleague engagement and cultural programs to improve team performanceMentors and provides leadership development to direct and indirect reportsOperations:Partner with HRBPs on execution of HR operations in each plant and office within regionUnderstands the HR Service Delivery Model and associated Operating Level Agreements and manages effectively to the agreed upon levels of serviceResolves HR process and policy inquiries requiring higher level knowledge and authorityEffectively integrates new support requirements into the HR Delivery Centers as they are introduced by HR special projects and engagementsLeads continuous processes improvement initiativesUnderstands and drives compliance within HR, including corporate policies and proceduresDrives successful execution of HR Programs and processes, managing multiple priorities through strong project management, systems knowledge and effective communicationsCommunication: Serves as a liaison between the HR Operations organization, Centers of Expertise, HRBPs and SCJ employeesResponsible for providing regular communication to Global HR Operations on common tools, processes and metrics to be developed and executed throughout the HR Operations networkInteracts with other Regional HRDC leaders to maintain consistency with global standardsCommunicates frequently and effectively with team members, other HR Delivery Center teams, HR leaders, HR stakeholders, and clientsRequired Skills / Experience / Competencies:Bachelor''s degree10+ years of experience in HR Shared Services and/or Call Center Operations, experience in a COE would also be desirable (not essential)Strong understanding of North American HR Operations and HR Service Center managementStrong knowledge of at least two of HR data admin, payroll, talent, and compensation administration preferredSkilled in managing multiple resources at different levelsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects, and daily planned and unplanned operational activitiesWorking knowledge of regional employment laws and regulations Positive-minded, collaborative interpersonal skills and leadership qualities necessary to build and motivate a cohesive and focused teamUncompromising commitment to stakeholder and colleague satisfactionAbility to provide clear direction quickly and on-demand Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; formal presentation and facilitation skillsStrong knowledge of customer service software applications (i.e., ServiceNow case management)HR Information Systems experience, Workday a distinct advantageCan be trusted to maintain confidential informationProficient in Microsoft Office softwarePreferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:HR Business Partnering exposure in a large multinational/matrix organizationInternational and/or multi-market / cluster HR leadershipKnowledgeable in current and future policies, trends, technology and information impacting the business and organization; knows how the business and competition works.Change Management - Ability to develop and drive an agenda of sustainable changes to the organization.LI-KZ1Better TogetherAt SC Johnson, we strive to create a positive, inclusive and unique workplace.
