Student: Sale Associate

Job SummaryYou must be a current UK student to apply for this position. This position is located off-campus with a local Lexington employer and is not affiliated with UK.As a sales associate at the Ruth Hunt Candy Company, you are a piece of the puzzle in providing the ultimate customer experience. We are 101 years old this year and a Kentucky Proud business! Your duties here would include working the register, restocking shelves, checking dates, answering the phone, tending to various customer needs, and some cleaning as needed. You are expected to create a rapport with customers, have a knowledge of our products to assist customers in making best purchase, encourage repeat business, welcome customers, guide them through our products, answer questions and assist in lifting and storing to keep the store in order. You will also run reports at thebeginning and end of the day, as well as assist customers in shipping and mailing items through our USPS contract unit.
