Strategy Manager LPS Division

As the Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for supporting divisional strategic planning process and driving activities in the development of short-, mid- and long-term LPS growth strategy. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to build BA portfolio strategies, roadmaps, and initiatives that attain competitive market advantage and LPS strategic growth targets. This position is a remote based position based in the Northeast or Ann Arbor, MI.What you will accomplish together with us:Support long-term divisional strategic planning efforts and associated high impact initiativesAnalyze internal and external data to identify strategic growth drivers and white space opportunities that leverage core LPS strengthsCollaborate with Product Management to develop BA portfolio strategy, roadmaps, and tactical plans aligned with LPS strategic growth goalsManage strategy and portfolio reviews with cross functional senior leadership team to ensure alignmentDevelop, report, and analyze KPIs / results of strategic plans against growth targets and competitive benchmarksIdentify and actively manage internal and external risks / threats to strategic plans; recommend viable scenarios and/or countermeasuresLead and facilitate key and complex cross-divisional -functional global strategic initiatives covering research to drug discovery products, services, and softwareInterface with Market Insights and BD team to synthesize insights and emerging trend to articulate impact to LPS business areas and strategic directionSupport presentation and business case development for key strategic and M&A projectsWhat will convince us:MS, Ph.D. in Life Sciences (e.g. Immunology, Neuroscience, Biochemistry or similar) with minimum 5 years of work experience or BS with 10+ years of work experience, preferably in matrix organizationMBA is a plusExperience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, R&D technology scouting or similar rolesIn-depth knowledge of life sciences technologies, workflows, tools, services, or softwareBusiness acumen coupled with excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExperienced in business model and decision-impact processesHighly organized self-starter able to work collaboratively and interpedently toward aggressive deadlines and stay calm under pressureExcellent Excel and PowerPoint skillsAbility to work and travel globally (10%) with multicultural sensibilityIdentification with our core values: Sustainability, Openness, EnjoymentAs a federal contractor subject to Executive Order 14042, we require all of our employees to be vaccinated as a condition of employment, subject to reasonable accommodations for reasons related to a disability or for religion.
