Description: All employees must be vaccinated due to DoD contract requirements. Dogwood Industries LLC is a family owned company which has doubled in size in the last 2 years. The office is located one mile from downtown Woodinville with plenty of restaurants, wineries, grocery stores, and fitness centers. Our company manufactures proprietary relocatable structures for industrial and DoD customers. Our scope of services includes design, manufacture, supply and installation of a complete building solution, from structural steel fabrication through electrical and mechanical systems. The Project Engineer is a salaried position, $80,000 - $95,000 DOE.Benefits• The Company pays 100% for one of the two medical plans, dental and vision (employee only)• Benefits begin the first of the month after 60 days of service• 401k matching if offered after 90 days of service, 3% - 5% matching which is vested immediately• The Company offers paid holidays, sick and vacation• The Project Engineer is eligible for a flex schedule after 90 days and the training period is complete Requirements: • The Project Engineer reviews and comprehends drawings and specifications for prefabricated products • Performs product research and specifies materials and components to meet requirements • Performs material take offs and develops BOMs and details for procurement • Performs cost analyses and reporting when appropriate• Detail-oriented and able to extract critical information from specifications• The Project Engineer will be able to read and understand technical information • Professional approach in working with third party engineers and project team• The Project Engineer will be fluent in the use of Office, SharePoint and Adobe applications• Ability to navigate 3D software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD Qualifications• Bachelor''s degree in related field, or equivalent professional experience• Two years previous successful projects working as a project engineer• Two years experience with electrical and mechanical systemsPhysical Requirements/Work EnvironmentThe Project Engineer requires moderate physical activity, primarily in an office environment but including visits to the manufacturing facilities or jobsites to collaborate and inspect materials. To perform the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly seated at a desk for computer work, utilizes the telephone frequently, participates in meetings and visits the factory setting where they will climb stairs, inspect and handle materials and be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes and odors.
