Up to $1500 Signing Bonus DOEThe Everett Clinic is seeking a per diem Phlebotomist III in their North Sites Locations. Under general supervision, is responsible for properly obtaining patient specimens, accurately labeling and transporting specimens. Ensures accurate identification of patient specimens to assist in the timely reporting of laboratory results. Performs a variety of support functions (non-technical and technical).The Phlebotomist responsibilities include:Venipuncture and specimen collections performed accurately and timelyGive proper patient collection instructions i.e. urineInstruct patients in post phlebotomy carePerforming EKGs and miscellaneous services for our patientsRequirements:High School diploma or GED; completion of 6-month Phlebotomy Certificate program through an accredited school.Minimum of one year phlebotomy experience.Certificate/License: Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-Pbt) certification with WA State to perform capillary, and venous invasive procedures for blood withdrawal under the supervision of a health care practitioner. BLS certification requiredFull COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role.
