If you do too, see below for an opportunity to join our team.QualificationsWe encourage you to apply if the below describes your experience and talents:* Bachelor''s degree from a four-year college or university* 1-2 years of experience in national activation or similar industry* Analytical thinking* Ability to work with numbers* Teamwork* Ability to work as part of a team* Establish strong relationships with both outside vendors and the agency strategy teams* Technical Skills* Exhibit proficiency with computer programs, but specifically Excel* Proficient knowledge of media math (equivalized vs. pure ratings, demo translations, reweighting, etc.)* Proficient knowledge of media terminology concepts and their application (VPVH, CPM, TRP, network universe vs. national universe, estimates vs. actuals)* Verbal/Written Communication skills* Ability to write clearly and concisely and present orally in an articulate and confident manner* Ability to effectively and comfortably communicate and interact with clients and vendors* Planning and Organization* Ability to follow-through on tasks and be detail-oriented* Ability to effectively and comfortably communicate and interact with clients and vendors* Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment* Professionalism* Ability to take direction and constructive criticismResponsibilitiesThe Negotiator has some experience in national activation and has mastered the skill sets required for the Assistant Negotiator level.Responsibilities include:* Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of client schedules* Analyze and negotiate schedule moves, make goods, and changes* Build schedules by release/title* Issue digital RFPs and analyze proposals for all broadcast digital video partners* Work in tandem with digital planning team to send digital video IOs, tags, and input plan details into the digital workbook and client deck* Develop a working knowledge of client''s goals, guidelines, and strategies* Oversee Junior Negotiators'' resolution of discrepancies and stewardship of buys within the designated time frame* Supervise the collection of daily spot times by the Junior Negotiator ensuring accuracy and confirming requested position was secured* Work in conjunction with the Junior Negotiator to prepare and analyze stewardships and post buy analyses on a quarterly and annual basis to ensure all buys deliver audiences as guaranteed* Stay abreast of changes to marketplace conditions/opportunities and research* Assist the team in preparation of analytical reports and work of a statistical nature* Maintain and grow relationships in the marketplace at parallel and senior level positions at the networksNegotiation Support* Assist Supervisor with Upfront and scatter negotiations by ensuring client deal points (weight goals, flighting, sponsorships) are metMedia Skills* Use and continue to develop media knowledge base to successfully complete media responsibilities* Pull research and analyze data (i.e. television ratings/programming and industry/marketplace/technology trends) for national activation management and strategy teams* Attend internal and external meetings and presentations* Keep abreast of industry trends through advertising and media trade journals
